Dictate + Connect (Dictamus) App Reviews

This app would be perfect if it would allow you to sync between your iPhone and your iPad via iCloud. Sometimes I record on my iPad but would like to have it available later via my iPad. And it would be nice to also be able to import audio that was recorded in other apps. I have a stockpile of recordings from the past I would like to be able to bring into this app for transcribing. Other than that it works flawlessly.

This dictation app is the beat. It is a pleasure to use. It is easy to navigate. It gives a clear recording. There are no machines or tapes I have to carry around. I am currently dictating in one state and sending my dictation to a transcriptionist in another state. She types it up and sends it back to me within 24 hours. The only thing that would make this perfect would be if my recording would be automatically and accurately transcribed into text.

I use it daily. Recommend it highly. When I had a problem after updating, they were responsive.

Fine app, very pleased so far. Had some initial problems with mic sensitivity at 100%, but then fixed it with setting at a lower %... So far so good, dont regret buying it. Im confident it will serve me well.

This app is a timesaver for me in a small law office. Having the ability to dictate and send off saves so much time. Occasionally buggy with my office wifi, but otherwise awesome

Im a busy attorney and travel constantly. My secretary uses her current transcription software and I dictate on this. Works flawlessly. And inexpensive. Love this app.

The app works great. Being able to connect the dictation directly to my Dropbox account allows me to dictate anywhere with a internet connect to immediately transfer it to my secretary for transcription.

This app works exactly as it is supposed to. Great for thoughts on the go to email to yourself or others. The ability to set up as default email address to send dictation to is really sweet and fast.

Best dictation app available. I use for all my medical notes and send to transcriptionist right from the app. I recommend this app to all docs!!

This app is great but since the IOS update I am no longer permitted to send dictations from anything other than my default email address. I can pull up a box to switch the senders address, but then the box wont go away to let me hit "send".

This is designed for dictation. The pauseduring silence alone is worth it. All these reviews raving about this Pp are right.

This is a great dictation app, as it makes it very easy to send dictation back to the office (even while traveling). The controls work fairly well (for back up and overwrite), but you need to be careful to break up long dictations (or the file size will get too large).

It is refreshing to use an app. from the utility/business genre that IS utile. I use this every other day and am extremely happy with it.

Constantly fails during taping, sends error message to creator, but nothing improves.

I am visually impaired, and I rely on this application to organize my life. It is well laid out, intuitive and I like the fact that when I launch the application it only takes one click to start recording. I also run a business in which I have to encrypt recordings and is allows this. I suggested a feature request directly to the manufacturer, who was kind, but not receptive. I wish there was the ability to password protect the application itself, because sometimes I store confidential information in it, And having this extra layer of protection would give me peace of mind. Despite this, I find this piece of software indispensable and use it every day. Highly recommended

My dictations always look very professional & are grammatically correct. The spelling is always correct. I never have to spell out complex/uncommon medical terminology/medications. The dictations always deliver & takes about max 5 seconds to actually send. It is very easy to erase or insert new material. I am very happy with this app & I highly recommend to any medical providers looking for a dictation service.
